Charlotte’s Web to hop on CBD sports bandwagon with new NSF-certified product line

The company said, pending the completion of the NSF certification process involved, that the first products will be released by the end of the year. Charlotte’s Web noted that its manufacturing facilities are already NSF certified.

The NSF standard requires less than 9 mcg of THC per serving to be certified “THC-free.” This means the products will form a “broad spectrum” production process, rather than the “full spectrum” line that makes up most of Charlotte’s Web products to date.

According to the company, the new line will launch first with a tincture and a gum, followed by additional products launching in 2023.
