Connecticut man arrested for possessing over a pound of marijuana following a traffic stop on the Thruway. –

Mamaroneck, NY – On December 10, 2021, at approximately 8:50 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-95 in the village of Mamaroneck for a vehicle and traffic violation.  Upon interviewing the driver, probable cause to search the vehicle was established.  The driver, Angel L. Rodriguez Jr., 29, of Rocky Hill, CT, was found to be in possession of approximately 1.16 pounds of marijuana. 

Rodriguez was taken into custody and transported to SP New Rochelle where he was charged with Criminal Possession of Cannabis 3rd degree; a Class A Misdemeanor. 

He was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Village of Mamaroneck Court on January 13, 2022 at 9:30 a.m.
