Ga. Judge Hits Pause On Prosecutor’s Delta-8 THC Crackdown – Law360

By Sam Reisman (March 21, 2022, 6:29 PM EDT) — A Georgia state court has temporarily barred an Atlanta-area prosecutor from going after businesses or individuals involved in selling hemp-derived psychoactive compounds, such as Delta-8 THC and Delta-10 THC.

In a decision granting two vape shops’ bid for a temporary restraining order, Fulton County Superior Judge Craig L. Schwall Sr. on Friday found that Gwinnett County District Attorney Patsy Austin-Gatson’s new policy of cracking down on the cannabinoids could have irreversible consequences for stores.
