Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Michele Powers says Sunday will be hot and humid with temperatures similar to a rise near 100 degrees.
It says brief thunderstorms are possible Sunday amid the moisture. Temperatures remain high through Tuesday.
SUNDAY: Expect a foggy, hot and humid day with highs in the 90s, but there’s a better chance of a storm in the evening.
MONDAY: The day should be the hottest day in the forecast with partly sunny weather and an emerging storm. Expect highs between 90 and 95 degrees, but should feel more like 100 degrees.
TUESDAY: Should be a day of sun and clouds in the morning and afternoon with a shower or thunderstorm in the evening and highs in the lower 90s.
WEDNESDAY: The heat should break today, but there’s a good bet for a stronger storm in the evening. Be prepared for highs in the mid-80s.
