Published:<\/span> 10:33 PM EDT, August 1, 2022 <\/span> | Updated:<\/span> 10:40 PM EDT, August 1, 2022 <\/span> <\/p>\n Hollywood star Dev Patel is one of the witnesses to a horrific stabbing outside a petrol station in Adelaide. <\/p>\n The Slumdog Millionaire star was seen speaking to police after a woman allegedly stabbed a man in the chest around 8.45pm on Monday night. <\/p>\n Witnesses had tried to separate the couple moments before the 34-year-old woman allegedly stabbed the 32-year-old man in the street. <\/p>\n The English actor is understood to be spending time in South Australia with his girlfriend and Hotel Mumbai co-star Tilda Cobham-Hervey. <\/p>\n The Slumdog Millionaire star was pictured speaking to police after a woman allegedly stabbed a man in Gouger Street on Monday night (pictured)<\/p>\n The English actor (right) is understood to be spending time in South Australia with his girlfriend and Hotel Mumbai co-star Tilda Cobham-Hervey (centre)<\/p>\n The man was treated by paramedics at the scene near Gouger Street before being rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. <\/p>\n The woman has been arrested and charged with a crime of serious injury.<\/p>\n The 34-year-old from Park Holme, in the south-west of the CBD, was refused bail to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Tuesday. <\/p>\n Police said the couple knew each other and it was not a random attack.<\/p>\n More to come. <\/p>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2022\/08\/02\/03\/60964775-11071437-image-a-72_1659407800515.jpg\")
