An invasion of privacy trial against Los Angeles County officially began Wednesday.<\/p>\n

In September 2020, Vanessa Bryant filed a lawsuit, alleging that first responders at the scene of the tragic helicopter crash that killed Kobe Bryant, Gianna Bryant and seven others shared photos of their remains. <\/p>\n

Bryant’s attorney, Luis Li, told jurors Wednesday that footage of the crash from first responders became “visual gossip” seen “for laughs.” <\/p>\n

“They were shared by deputies playing video games,” He told him.<\/a> “They were repeatedly shared with people who had absolutely no reason to receive them.”<\/p>\n

While not a surprise, the sports world is disgusted by this claim. <\/p>\n

\u201cI would NEVER want to have pictures of this accident,\u201d one person tweeted. “I never want to imagine or see him like that, protecting his daughter. A horrible image to have in your mind.”<\/p>\n

“Of course they were. The cops were showing this footage to people in the bar,” another person wrote. “Photos of dead and burned bodies of victims in their final moments, used to start conversations and laughs are as despicable as a human being.”<\/p>\n

He said Bryant has been dealing with emotional distress since discovering footage of the crash was shared by first responders. <\/p>\n

“January 26, 2020 was the worst day of Vanessa Bryant’s life. The county made it much worse,” Li said. “They poured salt on an open wound and rubbed it.”<\/p>\n
