The first documentary of the reality television show, Big Brother Naija, will premiere on Saturday, August 13, 2022.\n<\/p>\n
Femi Falodun, CEO of ID Africa, the reality show’s media consultancy, disclosed this in a statement on Thursday.\n<\/p>\n

The documentary titled ‘BBNaija: the Fame, the Fans, the Frenzy’, produced by ID Africa’s The Bang Studio, would premiere at the Africa Magic Showcase.\n<\/p>\n
\u201c’BBNaija: The Fame, the Fans, the Frenzy’ will take viewers behind the scenes of Africa’s biggest reality TV show and reveal some truths about the production of the show.\n<\/p>\n
\u201cIt features some of the most popular housemates on the show including Mercy Eke, Laycon, Nengi, Prince, Alex Asogwa, Bisola Aiyeola, Elozonam and Ozo.<\/p>\n
“‘BBN: The Fame, the Fans, the Frenzy’ tells the untold story of the show and examines its impact through the eyes of relevant stakeholders, with appearances by the host, crew and organizers of the show\n<\/p>\n
“This has grown to become the biggest Big Brother franchise in the world,” he said.\n<\/p>\n
Falodun explained that the show was an African pop culture phenomenon, so it was necessary to tell its story.\n<\/p>\n
\u201cAt ID Africa, we love telling untold stories, and what better story to tell than the biggest installment of Big Brother in the franchise’s history?\n<\/p>\n
“In the recently concluded season alone, the show recorded more than a billion votes from millions of viewers.<\/p>\n
“It was also seen in more than 30 countries around the world, I am delighted to be able to share the story of how this show is made and how much it changes the lives of the participants,” he said.\n<\/p>\n
Dr. Busola Tejumola, MultiChoice’s West Africa Head of Content and Channels, also shared her excitement for the premiere of the documentary.\n<\/p>\n
She said: \u201cWe have worked tirelessly behind the scenes for years to make Big Brother Naija a success, so it is very exciting to see the story of how the show comes together every year told in such a brilliant way.\n<\/p>\n

The documentary will be repeated on the channel at 12pm on Monday 15 August and at 3.30pm on Thursday 25 August.\n<\/p>\n
It will also air on Africa Magic Urban on Sunday 14 August 2022 at 12:30 and 15:10 on Thursday 18 August at 12:00.\n<\/p>\n
There will also be broadcasts on Sunday, August 21 at 3:30 p.m. and Thursday, August 25 at 5:30 p.m.\n<\/p>\n
DStv subscribers will also be able to watch the documentary on the go via the DStv app on multiple devices at no extra cost.\n<\/p>\n
