Heche, who was at West Hills Hospital’s Grossman Burn Center, remained in a coma and in critical condition Thursday, the statement said. <\/p>\n
Heche broke into a home in the Mar Vista community of Los Angeles on Friday morning. The home sustained “heavy fire” damage from the collision, said Brian Humphrey, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Department.<\/p>\n
She had drugs in her system and was being investigated for possibly driving under the influence, police said Thursday.<\/p>\n
“In preliminary tests, the blood draw revealed the presence of drugs,” Los Angeles police said in a statement.<\/p>\n
Police could not “comment at this time on the presence of cocaine, fentanyl or alcohol at this time,” they said Thursday. “That will be determined by the second test.”<\/p>\n
“The case is being investigated as a felony DUI traffic collision,” the statement said.<\/p>\n
Heche landed her first notable roles on the soap opera “Another World,” playing Vicky Hudson and Marley Love in the early 1990s.<\/p>\n

I, although I was never diagnosed as crazy, I went crazy.”<\/p>\n Heche also wrote about his relationship with DeGeneres.
