Samantha Harris, Emmy(R) Award-winning TV host and journalist, named host of Game Show Network’s word game game show, “Tug Of Words” <\/p>\n

Harris will host the second season of The Game Show which returns this fall<\/p>\n

Game Show Network, a leader in game shows and competitive entertainment, has announced Emmy(R) Award-winning television host Samantha Harris as host of its word game show, TUG OF WORDS. The second season of the half-hour original series is expected to premiere in the fall of 2022.<\/p>\n

From the production team behind “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire,” TUG OF WORDS is a fast-paced game where two teams compete to correctly answer word clue questions and pull the “tug of war” flag and drag” next to him. In the first round, each answer involves changing a single letter of the word on the board. For example, with “TUG” on the board, the answer to the clue “a tag inside a piece of clothing” is “TAG” and with “TAG” on the board, the answer to the clue “we hope the neighbors above are “t learning this dance” is “TAP”. With each round, an extra letter is added creating four and five letter words to solve. The team with the flag next to them after three rounds wins the game , qualifying them for the bonus round where they have a chance to compete for $10,000.<\/p>\n

Emmy(R) Award-winning television host and journalist Samantha Harris is best known to viewers as co-host of “Dancing with the Stars” for 8 seasons and weekend co-host of “Entertainment Tonight.” An engaging and experienced host, Harris has also hosted FOX’s “The Next Joe Millionaire,” “Gordon Ramsay’s Culinary Genius,” “The Insider,” “E! News” and “Extra.” Additionally, she has appeared as a guest host on “Access Hollywood Live,” “The View,” “Daily Blast Live,” “Hollywood Today Live,” “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” and “Good Morning America.” During her career, Harris co-hosted the official red carpet shows of the 80th Academy Awards(R) and Critics’ Choice Awards(R). And in 2009 she made her Broadway debut starring as Roxie Hart in the musical Chicago.<\/p>\n

In addition to her success on television, Harris is also a best-selling author and a certified health coach and fitness trainer. In 2014, Harris was diagnosed with stage II invasive breast cancer at the age of 40. His diagnosis inspired a search for answers on how to improve overall health, prevent chronic diseases and understand their underlying causes. Harris’ research resulted in the Amazon best-selling book, “Your Healthier, Healthier You: 8 Easy Ways to Take Control, Help Prevent and Fight Cancer, and Live a Longer, Cleaner, and happier,” which translates into comprehensive, research-backed knowledge. an easy-to-follow action plan to maximize health.
