Montana, Pennsylvania, Alabama, Mississippi and Ohio fell to the bottom of the list.<\/p>\n<p>To make this determination, Wallethub used one of its previous reports that it analyzed <a href=\"https:\/\/wallethub.com\/edu\/e\/best-worst-community-colleges\/15076\">the best and worst community colleges in the country<\/a> based on factors such as cost and funding, educational outcomes and career outcomes.<\/p>\n<p>From this list of 677 institutions, 12 Connecticut schools ranked in the top 25%:<\/p>\n<p>No. 10: Naugatuck Valley Community College<\/p>\n<p>No.  11: Northwestern Connecticut Community College<\/p>\n<p>No. 12: Manchester Community College <\/p>\n<p>No. 15: Capital Community College <\/p>\n<p>No.  31: Ashnuntuck Community College<\/p>\n<p>No.  54: Gateway Community College<\/p>\n<p>No. 61: Three Rivers Community College<\/p>\n<p>No. 112: Housatonic Community College<\/p>\n<p>No.  139: Norwalk Community College<\/p>\n<p>No. 144: Quinebaug Valley Community College<\/p>\n<p>No.  157: Middlesex Community College<\/p>\n<p>No.  167: Tunxis Community College <\/p>\n<p>Although the state&#8217;s community colleges are ranked first, officials at Connecticut&#8217;s state college and university systems have begun planning cost-cutting measures due to revenue losses from the decline of enrollment, CTMirror reported in July.
