(Photo by Sean Gardner\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<p>NASCAR announced some updated rule changes for the remainder of the 2022 Cup season Wednesday afternoon. <\/p>\n<p>FOX reporter Bob Pockrass tweeted the updated official rule changes for the Cup championship push.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;NASCAR has updated the rules for wrapping, quarter windows and windshield breaking as part of a bulletin today,&#8221; he reported on Twitter.<\/p>\n<p>Pockrass also shed more light on the situation.<\/p>\n<p>He said the reason for the change is &#8220;probably to make sure that teams don&#8217;t try to manipulate things in those areas. They often make tweaks to the rules based on what they see teams doing.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, NASCAR fans are speculating.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Anything to help on the 9th and 11th,&#8221; one fan wrote.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Of course they&#8217;re taking that out now. I guess it wasn&#8217;t written that way before.
