This former Hilton GM is now at the helm of health journeys, with Your CBD Store

Working in hospitality got pretty nasty during the peak of COVID.

“People were angry,” recalled Dee Earle-Browning of Wading River, Hilton’s general manager at the time. “Masks on, people were angry. No masks, people were angry. The mandates. They were angry and because of nothing we did, we couldn’t even do.”

After 20 years, Browning was losing his passion.

Work also became a mental effort.

I had enough.

Browning resigned in May 2021. Just two months later, he would open the franchise’s first Suffolk County location nationwide. Your CBD shop at Port Jefferson Station.

Now, instead of people coming to her with grievances, they come to her for help.

Born in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands, Browning had long experienced the benefits of CBD and hemp products, long before things took off in the states.

I had used hemp and its natural antioxidants for skin care for years.

“I’ve been using it for a while,” he said.

She was also particularly familiar with the SunMed line of premium products, treating everything from skin conditions to anxiety and sleep disorders. There’s even a pet line.

“Through my research, I realized there were no My CBD locations (that sell SunMed) in all of Suffolk County,” he said.

However, by then, there were already 22 in nearby Connecticut.

“We went to Connecticut and the stores were beautiful,” she said.

After a trip to the SunMed headquarters in Florida, meet the owners and the hours spent combing independent laboratory reportsBrowning was convinced that this company was the best.

She was full. His education and training began in early 2021.

“This company was founded by a woman, a mother who suffered from various health ailments, who found relief and decided she wanted to do this for other people,” Browning said. “And with so much CBD on the market, I knew what we wanted to put on our shelves had to be consistent.”

Consistency, which he cited as the biggest concern in the crowded CBD landscape, and therefore results, is what keeps his customers coming back.

“One of the pillars of the company is sampling,” he said. “People can try it, because if you’re going to take this health journey with us, we want to find the right product for you.”

Customers are also encouraged to contact their physicians.

“We are a CBD store; we’re not doctors,” he said. “So whatever you do, talk to your doctor if you have any questions. All our products also have QR codes for lab reports. Everyone has to be on the same page.”

This July, Your CBD Store Port Jeff celebrates its first year in business.

Browning said the numbers show her store is helping the community, which she said has welcomed the business with open arms, from local chambers to health care professionals.

“We have a 75 percent return rate” for customers, he said. “And even for the 25 percent, one of the things we offer at all franchise stores is a 30-day money-back guarantee.”

But he says “delivery makes all the difference” when it comes to results.

“So let’s figure out what’s the best method for you,” he said.
