Two Connecticut residents win more than $1M with CT Lottery

A Westbrook resident won $1,378,149 off a lottery! ticket, which was claimed on August 2. The ticket came from Saybrook Wine & Spirits in Old Saybrook. This is currently the largest prize claimed for the month so far, according to the Connecticut Lottery website.

The other $1 million winner was a Naugatuck resident who won $1 million in a second edition of Win Up to $5,000 a Month for Life. ticket This ticket was claimed on August 8 and sold to Stop One Mart LLC of Naugatuck.

Other notable awards include two Bridgeport residents who won big prizes this month. A $300,000 Diamond & Gold scratch-off game prize was claimed on Aug. 9, according to the Connecticut Lottery. The ticket was purchased at Uptown News & Variety on Main Street in Bridgeport. Another Bridgeport resident won $177,777 off a 7s electric scratch game. This ticket was sold at Main Wine & Liquor Shoppe on Main Street in Bridgeport and claimed on August 10th.

A Torrington resident won Torrington with a Lucky 777 ticket, which was claimed on Aug. 5 and sold to Luckey Star LLC in Torrington.

This month’s top awards surpass those of July, which had one $414,434 lottery ticket as the biggest prize claimed for the month.
