Police have not reported any entrapment or rescue.
ROCKY HILL, Conn. – Rocky Hill firefighters are working to remove two cars that found themselves in the Connecticut River Saturday morning.
The scene is at Ferry Park, near the Rocky Hill-Glastonbury Ferry. Their services have been suspended while the scene remains active, according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation (DOT). There is no word on when the ferry service will resume.
The ferry park boat launch is also closed at this time.

The cars were driven into the river overnight Saturday and are now at the bottom, leaking gas, according to the Rocky Hill Fire Department.
