Police have arrested a teenager after another teenager was stabbed in the CBD today.
Shortly before 5pm on Saturday, August 20, police and paramedics were called to Eliza Street after reports a teenager had been stabbed.
A 13-year-old boy was found in an alley with a minor stab wound to the back. He was treated at the scene before being taken to the Women’s and Children’s Hospital. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Police believe the incident was not random with the suspect known to the victim.
Police arrested the suspect a short time later on North Terrace. A 17-year-old boy from Kudla was charged with aggravated assault causing damage. He was refused police bail and will appear in the Adelaide Youth Court on Monday.
