Saybrook Zoning Holds Hearing on Marijuana Moratorium Proposal – Zip06.com

If passed, the moratorium will give the commission more time to study the issue. Earlier this year, Connecticut legislators passed a bill that legalized recreational marijuana use by adults in the state. Hartford Man Sentenced to 7 Years in Federal Prison for Drug Distribution and Firearm Possession Offenses – Department of Justice
Leonard C Boyle, Acting United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced that KENDALL JONES, also known as “Wolf,” 32, of Hartford, was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge Alvin W. Thompson in Hartford to 84 months of imprisonment, followed by four years of supervised release, for narcotics distribution and firearm possession offenses. Starting this Friday, patients registered with Connecticut’s medical cannabis program can start cultivating at home. From October 1, qualified patients aged 18+ are permitted to grow up to six cannabis plants at their homes.
