Two days before the Taliban marked the first anniversary of their takeover of Afghanistan, fighters from the hardline group beat female protesters and fired into the air on Saturday as they dispersed a demonstration in the capital, Kabul. (Updated at 7:55am) All four courts in Ireland at the courthouse caught fire after a car crashed into them around dinnertime on Friday. The fire has already been extinguished after a two-alarm response from the fire department.
