A structure fire on Northey Street in the eMalahleni CBD claimed one life last night.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown. The victim’s identity has not yet been released.
The Emalahleni Fire Department, Witbank SAPS and the South African Community Crime Watch were at the scene to assist.
Police later said a stove, which the family used to heat, is suspected to have caused the fire.
