ESSEX, CHESTER, DEEP RIVER, CT — Shopping is a pleasurable past-time that many of us took for granted prior to Covid-19 and the pandemic. Since the world has reopened, shopping experiences have looked a bit different. However, it is still fun to get out with friends and family, ramble through stores filled with stylish clothing and footwear, as well as, home accessories and more, searching for what you need and want. The Westbrook Outlets have always been a great place to do just that, and now, post-pandemic shut down, the stores at the Outlet are open and ready for business.
Offering a bevy of stores to shop at like; J. Crew Factory, H&M, HanesBrands, Rock Room Shoes, William Sonoma, Loft, Eddie Bauer, Old Navy, Bath and Body Works and more, the Outlets are proud to welcome its newest long term tenant Platinum Natural CBD. In addition, there are two new Pop-Up Shops (both local women’s clothing and accessory boutiques): Lori & and Lu-Lu and Polished Boutique.
On August 13 – 22nd, in Suite E100, a Pop-Up Vineyard Vines store will join the mix just in time for back-to-school shopping.
“Westbrook Outlets is a privately owned, beautifully designed fresh air shopping venue that offers outstanding pricing on national store brands as well as locally owned boutiques and more. With the reshaping of all our lives, Westbrook Outlets is in the process of transitioning away from being fully retail driven to a more community involved destination venue where our shoppers can experience it all: national brand savings, local entertainment, specialty Pop Up venues and more, all while enjoying our beautifully landscaped grounds,” said Westbrook Outlets General Manager Charlie Guthrie.
She added, “To enhance the shopping experience, we developed our monthly Second Saturday Marketplace which hosts over 100 local vendors, artisans, craftsmen, live music and more from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the lower parking lot between the center and the Cinema.”
The next Westbrook Outdoor Marketplace will take place on Saturday, August 14th and will feature local businesses, crafters & artisans. There will be a variety of great products on hand during this event including; art, jewelry, apparel, refreshments and much more. Local businesses and crafters join the name-brand stores for one great shopping experience.
“We also have several Annual events coming up, such as our Back To School Event (8/21) and the Annual Westbrook Top Model and Talent Search (8/28) involving over five major modeling and talent agencies. Our VIP program offers our members first notification of upcoming events, specials, store sales and activities while also providing coupon savings to many of our brand stores. It is never a bad day at Westbrook Outlets,” said Guthrie.
The Westbrook Outlets are now independently owned and operated following the Tanger Outlet sale which happened in 2017.
