Love’s Travel Stops has expanded the scope of its services by opening a new location in Willington, Connecticut, the company’s first in the state. The site adds 56 truck parking spaces and 50 jobs in Tolland County, providing local customers with fuel, convenience and truck care services.
“Opening our first location in Connecticut reaffirms Love’s commitment to providing quality products and services that are easy to access for customers across the U.S. Love’s will continue to add new locations, ensuring travelers have a safe, clean and well-maintained place to stop when they see the heart of the freeway,” said Greg Love, co-CEO of Love’s.
The location is open 24 hours a day and offers the typical amenities of the brand, including seven diesel bays, three showers, CAT scale, Mobile to Go Zone with the latest GPS and a dog park. The 8,000-square-foot facility has built-in Godfather’s Pizza and Subway restaurants and other food offerings such as gourmet bean-to-cup coffee, branded snacks and a fresh dining concept.
In honor of the grand opening, Love’s will donate $2,000 to Willington Public Schools.
