Five more teenagers are wanted by police over a fight at a south-west Sydney school that police say started over a disagreement over a girl.

Three teenagers were taken to hospital at around 3pm yesterday afternoon, one of whom had been stabbed in the thigh and upper back.

All have since been sent home and are being treated as victims.

Five teenagers, aged between 15 and 16, have been arrested and will appear in court today.

Superintendent Adam Johnson said five other teenagers of the same age were being sought.

Several had already been identified, while video footage from witnesses’ phones was being used to identify others.

They have been urged to hand themselves in at Bankstown Police Station.

Johnson said the fight started after two boys had a disagreement over a girl.

“It’s an isolated incident,” he said.

“Some bad decisions have ended up with dire consequences.”
