Conn. (WTNH) — Connecticut residents can enjoy the sun; just not in certain state parks.
According to the Connecticut Department of Transportation, the following parks close after their parking lots reach capacity:
Squantz Pond State Park – New FairfieldMillers Pond State Park – HaddamPattaconk Recreation Area (Cockaponset State Forest) – ChesterBigelow Hollow State Park – UnionGillette Castle State Park remains open until sunset, but ticket sales for castle tours is sold out – East HaddamGardner Lake State Park – Salem
