Workers say it’s a good way to exercise without the risk of dehydration that people who exercise outdoors face.
“Eleven laps around a full-sized rink like this equals a mile. You can come here for an hour and you can skate a marathon,” said Lisa Fedick, general manager of Wonderland of Ice.
Experts say people with long-term COVID symptoms may be more vulnerable to heat.
