Who is in the Little League World Series? Updated list of teams to qualify for 2022 LLWS bracket

The future of baseball will be on display in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania for one of the sport’s most cherished events. The Little League World Series is back, and it’s set to be unlike any of its predecessors.

The 2022 Little League World Series is the 75th edition of the competition. The tournament will now feature 20 teams, expanded from the 16-team format it has used for much of its existence.

This year’s tournament is important for another reason. The COVID-19 pandemic canceled the event in 2020, while only American teams competed in the LLWS in 2021. But this year, fans will be able to see the next generation of young talent emerging from countries of worldwide, including Japan and Mexico, among other countries.

All of which is to say, it should be an exciting contest. And with fans back in the stands, who also missed last year’s events due to COVID-19, the Williamsport magic should be a little more palpable this time around.
