Former Clare goalkeeper Davy Fitzgerald is set to become Waterford’s senior hurling manager for a second time, according to reports.
Davy Fitzgerald led Waterford to a Munster title in his first spell at Waterford several years ago and after stepping down from his role with the Cork Camogie team, he now looks set to return to the men’s competition.
There were a number of candidates under consideration to replace Liam Cahill, including Eddie Brennan and a return from Derek McGrath, but Davy Fitzgerald looks set to land the gig for a second time.
