The BJP hit back, alleging that Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal was the “boss” of the “liquor scam” and the Aam Aadmi Party was trying to divert attention from its corruption by linking the action of the CBI with politics. He claimed that Modi would improve his tally in the next general elections like he did in 2019.
A day after the CBI raid on him, Sisodia in a press conference expressed his apprehension that the agency or the ED might arrest him in the next 3-4 days and alleged that was part of the “script to stop Kejriwal that has emerged. as a national alternative” to Modi.
