Storm Watch Team meteorologist Dave Curren says it will be hot and humid today before the rain arrives on Monday:
TODAY: Moisture returns for a sweaty Sunday forecast. Highs will warm into the mid 80s. Clouds will build throughout the day, but all in all a nice end to the weekend.
MONDAY: Thunderstorms develop overnight. A few isolated thunderstorms could greet early morning commuters. More storms are expected Monday afternoon.
It could fall anywhere from half an inch to an inch and a half. Localized flooding is possible.
