Can Weed Help You Lose Weight?

Opinions expressed by Entrepreneur contributors are their own. Everyone knows weed can cause the munchies. But research into the cannabinoid tetrahydrocannabivarin (THCV) has shown the compound might prove effective in controlling appetite. A review of the studies published in the Journal of Cannabis Research reported that “the uniquely diverse properties of THCV provide neuroprotection, appetite suppression, glycemic control, and reduced side effects, etc.; therefore, making…

Greenleaf Farms at Sunlight Building offers CBD products, dispels myths – theday.com

I think it can peak somewhere around 12,” said Norwich Mayor Peter Nystrom. Norwich is considered a distressed city and impacted by the war on drugs, so the state says it will benefit by hosting this growing industry. “Jobs, development, tax revenues,”…

CT cannabis dispensary seeks uniform lab testing standards – CT Post

Connecticut cannabis dispensary Fine Fettle is pushing for more transparency and uniform lab standards in a statement regarding the safety of the products. The statement comes more than a month after patients expressed concerns regarding safety and transparency of medical marijuana products when public records showed the state Department of Consumer Protection allowed AltaSci, one of the state’s two testing labs, to increase its allowable level of mold and yeast from 10,000 to 1 million colony forming units per gram. The change, approved via email in 2020, also included additional testing for molds in the Aspergillus family. The state says…
