I remember when my sister Mary was assigned to have her six-week psych rotation from Saint Francis School of Nursing at the Norwich Hospital. Stonington commission to seek 6-month moratorium on cannabis businesses – theday.com

Federal Marijuana Monopoly Finally Ends As Two Companies Harvest Cannabis Approved By DEA – Marijuana Moment
Oklahoma marijuana activists on Tuesday filed another marijuana legalization initiative that they hope to place before voters on the 2022 ballot. The campaign is being supported by the national New Approach PAC, which has been behind a number of successful state-level reform initiatives. A separate group of local activists also filed initiatives to legalize recreational marijuana and remodel the state’s existing medical cannabis program in October—and members of that campaign are already criticizing the new push. This latest measure would allow adults 21 and older to purchase and possess up to one ounce of cannabis, grow up to six mature…

Rhode Island Lawmakers Near Marijuana Legalization Deal, But Governor Not Sold On Key Provision – Marijuana Moment
Key Rhode Island lawmakers say they are nearing an agreement on a marijuana legalization bill that they plan to introduce within days. But one part of the deal might jeopardize support from the governor. Legislators have been in talks for months to reconcile competing legalization proposals that have been brought forward by the House, Senate and governor’s office. Many issues have been resolved over the course of negotiations, but the question of who should be in charge of regulating the program—an existing agency or a newly created body—has been a sticking point. Lawmakers are now signaling that the best route…
