Best Delta 8 THC Tincture Brands of 2022 – Top Oil & Drops [Reviewed] – Auburn Reporter
Hold onto your knickers folks: THC is finally federally legal! Well, sort of. Let us explain… As you may or may not know, the cannabinoid world is expanding. So far, scientists have been able to identify over a 100 cannabinoids within the cannabis plant, which includes both hemp and marijuana. That’s pretty amazing, if we do say so ourselves. And one of those cannabinoids just so happens to be an analog of THC. If you’re scratching your head at this point, wondering what the heck we’re talking about, hold tight. In other words, “analogs” are simply variants of THC. For…

Latham & Watkins is making its mark on the booming field of cannabis law in Europe, securing victory in a landmark case before the French Court of Appeals over the marketing of CBD-based products. Confirming a November 2020 decision by the Court of Justice of the European Union, the appeals court in Aix-en-Provence last week dismissed all criminal charges against Latham client Antonin Cohen, co-director of the vaping products company KanaVape. The French court’s action upheld the EU ruling that member states may not ban the marketing of cannabidiol, or CBD, a non-psychotropic chemical present in the Cannabis sativa plant,…

Connecticut officials issue warning about fentanyl-laced marijuana – CBS News
Health officials in Connecticut have issued a warning about fentanyl-laced marijuana, which is being eyed in a rash of overdoses throughout the state. Since July, 39 overdoses requiring the use of naloxone for revival have been reported. In each case, the person involved said they had only smoked marijuana, but officials said they exhibited opioid symptoms. A cluster of cases was reported in October in Plymouth, though officials say incidents have been dispersed across the state. A lab test of some of the marijuana used in one of the Plymouth cases confirmed the presence of fentanyl, a potent and potentially…

Breaking open a Chocolope flower brings up memories of a summer afternoon, the smell of sunkissed blackberries and their entangled vines growing slightly overripe in the late August heat. While the strain itself doesn’t have a distinct berry aroma, a subtle sweetness is blanketed by a familiar herbal warmth. Lightened by a pepper-like sharpness, the fragrance of this strain is inviting. Upon looking at the flower, it’s amazing that this simple herb can project such an attention-grabbing aroma. The bud features unassuming pine-tree shape and an airy texture, a surprising vehicle for thousands of glittering resin glands. Yet, it is…

New Canaan commission bans all cannabis sales, businesses in town – Thehour.com
NEW CANAAN — If residents want cannabis, they’ll have to go outside town limits to buy it. The Planning and Zoning Commission moved to ban all cannabis — recreational and medical — establishments this week, revising a previous moratorium that just addressed medical marijuana. The commission’s decision, which will go into effect Dec. 17, is consistent with the state law legalizing the use of cannabis earlier this year that gave towns the option to prohibit sales. The commission broached this topic before when it voted in April 2019 to permanently ban medical marijuana dispensaries and production facilities. The latest text…

Connecticut won’t protect children from marijuana and gambling – Journal Inquirer
Vernon School Superintendent Joseph Macary may mean well, but then so did the guy who closed the barn door after the horses got out. The other day Macary urged Vernon’s Planning and Zoning Commission to reject a zoning regulation that would allow marijuana retailing as close as 500 feet to school property. State and federal law require “drug-free zones” of 1,500 feet around schools, the superintendent said, and maintaining that distance is necessary “to protect our children.” Yes, God forbid if children on their way to and from school should discover that, like many other states, Connecticut has legalized marijuana…

Holiday shopping season is beginning, and as the new saying goes, if it’s made locally, it’s not stuck on a cargo ship. Every year, small business people and independent artisans and crafters urge shoppers to shop small and avoid the big stores. This year, that plea takes on a new dimension, as seaports are clogged with ships full of things that should be filling the shelves in those big stores. Advertisement Creative people throughout Connecticut are stepping up and participating in dozens of holiday craft markets, fairs and pop-up events to offer unique gifts that can’t be found in chain…
