Patients who are registered with the state’s medical cannabis access program can begin home cultivating cannabis for their own personal use next Friday, October 1. Under the new law, qualified patients ages 18 and older may grow up to six cannabis plants in their homes. Households with more than one qualified patient may home cultivate a maximum of 12 plants. Judicial branch: No marijuana allowed in CT courts – Westport News

Head on over to the state Judicial Department website and you’ll likely see a warning, emblazoned in bright, red text: “No cannabis (marijuana) is allowed in a courthouse.” A similar notice is prominently displayed in all Connecticut state courthouses. That notice is the result, judicial branch spokesperson Rhonda Hebert confirmed, of the state’s legalization of recreational cannabis use. “It is related to the recreational legalization of marijuana,” she said. Are Delta-8 THC Products Actually Dangerous?

Last Tuesday, the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Food and Drug Administration published a warning to the public “regarding the potential health risks of using Delta-8 THC products.” Part of their reasoning for putting out a statement was due to “an uptick in adverse event reports to the FDA and the nation’s poison control centers.” Questionable Side Effects Cannabis isn’t supposed to give you a hangover.
