Emergency works in Brisbane’s CBD have caused 45-minute bus delays and congestion for drivers across the city, forcing some morning commuters to walk to work. All lanes are blocked from all directions on Adelaide Street between George Street and North Quay on Tuesday morning, with the Queensland Traffic website urging people to seek an alternative route. Five people were killed Tuesday, including two children, in an apparent murder-suicide in Orlando, police said.
