In the middle of a wave of thefts businessmen have called for a dedicated taskforce to beef up security in Feilding central business district. The idea to launch the committee was floated during a meeting held by Feilding and District Promotion (FDP) on Monday evening. The committee’s role would be to help bring closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras, increased patrols, well-lit streets and better parking arrangements to the CBD. Former NFL star Marshawn Lynch has been arrested and taken into custody for driving under the influence. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department announced the arrest in a tweet on Tuesday. “LVMPD conducted a vehicle stop at Fairfield Avenue and West Utah Avenue (near Wyoming and Las Vegas Blvd) on a driver, later identified as Marshawn Lynch, on suspicion of impaired driving,” wrote LVMPD. “During the course of the investigation, officers determined that Lynch was impaired and made an arrest.
