Connecticut has received an initial $11 million share of a $26 billion multistate settlement with Johnson & Johnson and drug wholesalers AmerisourceBergen, Cardinal Health and McKesson. All four drug companies were sued for their role in the opioid crisis. Over the next 18 years, Connecticut will receive $300 million as part of the settlement reached in February.
