Crystal Meth Trafficker Sentenced to 5 Years in Federal Prison – Department of Justice

Leonard C Boyle, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, today announced that ALEJANDRO CASTILLO, 42, a citizen of Belize last residing in Los Angeles, California, was sentenced yesterday by U.S. District Judge Kari A. Dooley in Bridgeport to 60 months of imprisonment, followed by three years of supervised release, for trafficking crystal methamphetamine to Connecticut. According to court documents and statements made in court, on September 22, 2020, the Drug Enforcement Administration’s Hartford Task Force arrested an individual who possessed more than 400 grams of crystal methamphetamine.  Investigators learned that the individual had received the meth from a…
